Line drawn, next?
6 June 2008So now I have drawn a dotted line* under the crush I’m thinking where do I move on to now?
There’s no one else on my radar I think I have a shot with. The designer at work is too cute. The boss has a partner and kids. The ex-foreigner is straight. I’m not about to move overseas myself. And no matter how I dream about him I’m not going to get any closer to a celebrity.
I was watching Ugly Betty tonight and it was the episode that introduced Mark’s love interest Cliff. The way they look at each other on the couch… the hand holding… the little feet thing. Swoon!
That’s what I want. The underwear model? Who cares. Sitting down with someone to watch a video? Perfect.
* It’s a dotted line because part of me still thinks that maybe one day it might work out for us. I’m probably too optimistic for my own good.
I’ve never seen Ugly Betty but I liked that clip you posted. It contains a nice message.
The first thing I thought when I saw Mark’s new friend was, “Man, Judd Apatow has a lot to answer for.”
Of course it could be that I’m just jealous…
