He had one line so tracking down this actor’s name will be tricky, but I thought he was gorgeous.

Don’t forget Matthew

When I posted yesterday that I didn’t see the appeal of the other guys in Gossip Girl I’d forgotten about Matthew Settle. He’s hot too of course. I meant the young guys.

Monday male: Chace Crawford

Chace it the only guy on Gossip Girl I actually think is attractive. The other two? I don’t see the appeal but I guess I’m not quite a teenage girl.

Monday male: Paul Rudd

Totally adorable he makes everything he’s in worth watching.

Monday male: James Franco

James was a highlight on yesterday’s Oscars, reprising his role from Pineapple Express (which I really gotta go hire) and he was so gorgeous in Milk.

When I smile my eyes wrinkle up and people think my eyes are shut when they try to take my photo. I am a bit self-conscious about this but James makes me feel alright about it.

Monday male: Chris Buchanan

Out of the cast of Zanna Don’t, Chris Buchanan was the highlight for me. He’s simply gorgeous. He was probably also the most buff Chess player I’ve ever seen, but I wont hold that against him (but he can hold those arms against me).

He played gay and straight convincingly but I much more enjoyed the former. I don’t think he played a woman all that well, but if he’s going to show off his abs can I complain?

The first act love song “Looks like Love” was a lot of fun and his solo “I Could Write Books” painful for the emotion he brought to it.

If the company tours it’s worth catching the show. I will look out for their future productions.

Happy Chaps

On Saturday night I went to see Devanesen Productions “cabaret homage to musical theatre’s ‘Happy Chaps’.” It was a good show, running about 90 minutes with no intermission, simple but effective.

The stage had five microphones and a piano with singers taking turns coming on stage to perform a selection of songs from various musicals. The songs and show choices weren’t big names, I’d heard of only one show, but the songs and performances were good.

The host was terrific. Her recreation of a song montage from Bare was hilarious. Her costume, dancing, impressions, it was all just so funny.

Bare was the musical I’d heard of and tried to see last year but I missed out on tickets. I wish I had seen it because the three songs chosen from that musical (before during and after a phone call from one of the boys to his mother) were terrific. I hope that it gets a new staging.

Songs were also picked from (and there could be some mistakes here – there were no programs) [Title of Show], Romance Romance, Tales From An Unmade Bed, Last Night’s Party, Falsetto, A New Brain, and some songs from Sondheim and some Divas.

I recognised most of the small cast from the company’s production of Aida in the same theatre last year. This included the cute blond guy I fancied from the chorus getting a deserved chance to take centre stage.

Monday male: Dominic Cooper

The best thing about the movie version of Mamma Mia! I so need to hit the gym for pecs like his.

Monday male: Zoran Vidinovski

It’s day 99 in the Big Brother house. I’m quite pleased to see that the final two housemates are Zach and Aleisha. I’m happy for either of them to win.

My favourite of this year’s housemates has already left. I thought Zoran was just gorgeous.

A 23 year old Queenslander uni student, Zoran is an amateur magician and believes a little bit of magic and a martini add a nice touch to any night.

Those Internet rumours should probably be ignored.

Zoran only got into the house because of the audience vote on the first episode and lasted until close to the end.

He might not have won, but he won me over.
